Dear August 26th 2019 Hannah,
REmember to write down things. God, ypu knew this in high school but still don’t do this now. You have the attention span of a goldfish, write things down. You have currently forgot about 15 things as of November 6th 2019. Also mark November 4th 2019 the day you lose your soul, you’ll understand when the day comes. And get better shampoo and conditioner the pool is going to destroy your hair.
What’s your favorite scary Movie is asked quite frequwently at this time of the year. I particullary dislike this question due to the fact I don’t exacl;y have one. Best killer? Freddy Kruger, I named my pet snake after him. Best series? Scream I don’t know why. Best stand alone movie? The Shining maybe? Coolest motive? Gotta hand it to the original Jigsaw. Best remakes? The IT movies. Most iconic? Jason Vorhees and Micheal Myers. These are the moives that all come to mind when one askes me this question. I will admit I am baised to the classic but they’re classics for a reason.
The last text I sent was to my Friend Meredith which eas ” I think it 2 is supposed to have the most blood in the history of movies”. I’m not sure if IT 2 does but we were discussing the movie and we talking about seeing the movie on fall break. Pretty self explanatory if I may say so.
The question of do I want to be faomous is stupid. No, I don’t want to be famous; I want to be happy. Haven’t you watched BoJack Horseman? All the famous people on that show are miserable. Even in real life most of the cebrities I’ve looked up to have had substance abuse problems. My goal in life is to be happy not have a large amount of money and be recognized by everyone. Also if you’re famous ypu have crazy fans breathing down your neck constantly judging you for everey thing you do.
A place I’d never want to visit would be New York City again. I hated the one day I had to spend in the big apple. The place sucks, it’s crowded, smelly, loud, and you can’t ever find a bathroom when you need one. The worst thing about it is when your dad just has to take a family picture in front of some land mark on a crowded sidewalk. Maybe I’m being too whiny about the city but I will forever stick to the opinion that eastcoast cities are the worst places to be besides like prison or a Saw game or something like that. At least Chicago had an art muesem NYC had nothing to get away from the crowds.
I’m locked in a room with my worst fear. No, it’s not snakes or spiders, or even a classic horror movie villains. It’s birds. Swalking , screaming, rampant, diesis ridden birds. Birds by far, are the worst thing that possibly have graced the Earth aside from huimans. In this room the worst of the worst birds swoop left and right. Geese honk, seagulls pick at the ground for any possible scrapes, emus stink the whole room up, Parrots mimic words in a demonic scrachty voice, while swans attack all the other birds. Why birds? They’re loud, they can attack from above, they poop everywhere, the amount of dieses in their bodies as disgusting.
Probably the teacher that has had the biggest impact on me was my first grade teacher Mrs. Petry. Mrs. Petry really loved her job and I would say she was the one who made me want to go into my current major of early education. Just this summer I was reminded of how much she enjoyed educating us with getting a letter in the mail from her. She had kept one if my writing samples and sent it to me alsong with the class photo that year. She also sent the same thing to my brother the year before.
I’m not quite sure who knows me the best because at this point in my life, I don’t even know who I am. If you would have asked me this a few months ago I would have said Owen, a friend on my highschool team but I haven’t talked to him since graduation. Here at Notre Dame I guess I would say my room mate given she has to live with me.
The best I’ve ever recived was on my 18th birthday, my pet snake, Freddie. After 18 years of asking I finally got a small danger noodle of my own. Freddie is a corn snake just under or over 3 feet as of now. I wish I could have brought him with me to college but rules are rules here. Freddie was named after one of my favorite horror movie villians, Freddy Kruger. I got him at a reptile rescue shelter(yes, such a place exists) when he was 2 years old he’s currently 3 I think. He will live for about 15 more years since now.
The movie I never get tired of is Shawshank Redemtion. The reason is because both always make me have hope for the doulo of loveable chararcters in both stories. Andy and Red give hope that things can get better and as Stephen King wrote in his novella that was this movie is Hope Springs Eternal.
